3.“Why me again?”

Except the Population Census in every 10 years where full enumeration is undertaken, most of the other surveys are conducted by sampling. While the sample size varies among different surveys, the key lies in getting an adequate sample size that can truly reflect the characteristics of the universe. An appropriate sampling method enables considerable saving of time and resources required to derive reliable results. At present, the frequent sampling methods used include random sampling, systematic sampling, stratified sampling, etc.

Why you? Is it fate or bias? Macao is a tiny place with a small population; as a result, the availability of units for sampling is low and the probability of being selected is higher. Therefore, the reason of selecting you again is purely a coincidence.
