Enquiry about statistical information |

The Documentation and Information Centre of DSEC is designated to take better care of users’ requests for statistical information. Five types of enquiry services are available to data users: |

In person enquiry |
| |
You are welcome to visit the Documentation and Information Centre that provides a comfortable environment and facilities for data users to access statistical data. Our staff will take care of your queries and assist you in obtaining the necessary information as quickly as possible.
The Centre is equipped with computers for you to search for statistics on-line. When necessary, free photocopy service for statistical data is also available.
Opening hours of the Centre:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm

You can make enquiry about statistical information by calling (853) 8399 5311. Our staff will take care of your request immediately. |

Enquiry via fax |
| |
You can send your request by fax to (853) 2830 7825, and the requested information will be sent to you via fax. |

Enquiry by post |
| |
You can send your enquiry by post to the Documentation and Information Centre of DSEC. Our address: Alameda Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção, No. 411-417, Dynasty Plaza, 17th floor, Macao. Please indicate “Enquiry about statistical information” on the envelope. |

Enquiry on commodity codes |

Three enquiry hotlines have been set up to enable members of the public to enquire on the commodity codes of the Nomenclature for the External Trade of Macao/Harmonized System, 6th Revision:

Subscription to statistical publications |

Electronic publications |
| |
Subscribing to electronic publications is the most efficient way of obtaining statistical information. Upon release of the information, you will receive our notifying email with the link to access the respective publication.

Personalized Webpage |

With the vast variety of surveys and statistical data compiled by DSEC, the Personalized Webpage, a customized service, is designed to address your needs. The Personalized Webpage allows you to obtain statistical information of your interest immediately without the hassle of searching. Becoming a user of the Personalized Webpage is easy, simply register as a user of our website and, upon receipt of our email confirmation, you can get started with your Personalized Webpage straight away.

Customized statistical tables |

Select indicators from the Statistics Database to produce statistical tables of your choice (e.g. the relationship between visitor arrivals and the value of retail sales). The table specifications are stored in the customized “My Statistics” page that will be automatically updated together with our system. |

You can generate statistical charts (line chart or bar chart) with the selected statistical indicators that will facilitate you to keep track of the latest tendency. |

Statistics Database is a statistical warehouse, an essential information centre documenting the demographic, social and economic development of Macao. You can access historical data on principal statistical indicators compiled by DSEC on just one webpage.

External Merchandise Trade Database |

In addition to the Statistics Database, we also provide on-line database of individual statistical projects to address the needs of data users.
